A unique retreat for Christian entrepreneurs and marketplace leaders. The serene setting of Barnabas Landing, Keats Island, BC. Two days to contemplate and think deeply about key life issues. Surrounded by peers with great insights. That’s part of the ELO Peer Advisory Group experience.
The ELO Christian Entrepreneur Retreat is taking place at Barnabas Landing from May 21-23. Peer Advisory Group members will have a fantastic opportunity to delve into key life, faith and business issues. It's the perfect time to build relationships and share experiences in a relaxed and scenic environment.
Dale Lutz, a PAG member, is also Chair of the Board of Barnabas Landing and a long-time supporter and user of the facility. He vouches for the impact of the serenity and beauty of Barnabas Landing. He is co-hosting the retreat along with Dr. Richard (Rick) J. Goossen, Chair, ELO Network.
Part of the experience will be an opportunity for members to do presentations on topics that are of specific interest to them. This is a unique chance for members to get input on key issues of concern to them.
With dynamic peer-led discussions, space to reflect and recharge, and the backdrop of stunning natural beauty, members will return energized, inspired, and ready to take their business—and their leadership—to the next level. This is more than a retreat. It’s a strategic pause with like-minded peers who sharpen one another.
ELO continually works to be the premier organization to help meaning-driven entrepreneurs succeed. ELO delivers excellence across a range of services: world-class conferences, the ELO Oxford Leadership Program, acting as a partner with the Harvard Human Flourishing Program, management consulting services and the ELO Peer Advisory Groups.
The ELO Peer Advisory Group Network not only matches what any mainstream peer advisory groups offer but also provides a unique opportunity for Christian business leaders to integrate faith with professional leadership in a meaningful and transformative way.
In today’s fast-paced and challenging business environment, having a trusted circle of peers who share both Christian values and a commitment to excellence in leadership can be an invaluable source of strength and perspective. These groups provide a confidential and spiritually grounded space to process situations.
The ELO Peer Advisory Groups are comprised of Christian senior executives, entrepreneurs, and business leaders from various non-competing industries. The importance of clarity and conviction of meaning for each leader is at the core of our approach, and that drives everything else.
One of the core benefits of our groups is the mutual encouragement and accountability it provides. Business leaders often experience isolation at the top, where few people understand the weight of responsibility they carry.
As part of the ELO Network, members find not just business acumen, but also spiritual insights—others who are equally concerned with honouring God in their decision-making, treating employees well, and building companies that serve a greater purpose. This shared foundation strengthens both character and leadership capacity.
Each ELO Peer Advisory Group meeting has a clear agenda with practical outcomes.
- Do you feel you don’t have anyone to discuss important business issues with?
- Are there faith-related issues regarding business that you would like to review in a confidential environment?
- Do you wonder what other peers would do in the situation you find yourself in?
- Do you want to reduce your learning curve and learn from people who “have been there, done that?”
- Do you want to avoid growing your organization beyond your own ability?
If you answered "Yes!" to any of these questions, we recommend you enquire about joining a group today! Part of the experience is joining us at Barnabas Landing.
