People - Paul Stevens

TOPIC: “God-Inspired Inventiveness & Creativity in Business and Life”

DESCRIPTION:  As an entrepreneur in this session Paul presents the biblical and spiritual basis of creativity and innovation. Human beings, made in the image of God, are creating creatures, built by our God to invent, develop and imagine new things and new ways of doing things. Entrepreneurship turns out to be essential for the flourishing of the human enterprise and the economic system in particular. People of faith do not have a monopoly on inventiveness but they should be, and can be, the most creative people on earth. They have a God who invites risk-taking as suggested in the Parable of the Talents (Matt 25). Further, the will of God, far from being an initiative dampening fiat is really an empowering vision the very things that make entrepreneurship thrive: invention and implementation.
