People - Paolo Aquilini 2013Paolo Aquilini is a managing partner of the family owned and operated Aquilini Investment Group (AIG), along with his two brothers Francesco and Roberto, and father Luigi.  Founded more than 50 years ago by Luigi Aquilini, AIG is one of Vancouver’s most diversified companies, best known for owning the Vancouver Canucks NHL hockey team and Rogers Arena. The Vancouver-based organization owns and manages a global conglomerate portfolio that includes commercial, industrial and residential development and construction; as well as, property, food and beverage, hospitality and entertainment enterprises; diverse agribusiness operations; sustainable aquaculture and renewable energy ventures.  In addition to his managing partner position, Paolo holds the title of Alternate Governor for the Vancouver Canucks NHL franchise and President of Canucks for Kids Fund, the charitable arm of the hockey team.

Dedicated to the betterment of community life, Paolo is actively involved in a variety of charities and President of Canucks for Kids Fund, the charitable arm of the Vancouver Canucks.  Having a child diagnosed with autism led Paolo and his wife Clara to found the Canucks Autism Network, which has become the leading organization in BC for helping families living with autism. Other passions that Paolo focuses his time on are mental health awareness and unity of believers in the Christian faith 

Since joining AIG at a young age, Paolo has completed his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of British Columbia, and has worked in every facet of the organization, focusing on developing commercial, industrial and residential projects. Currently, along with his responsibilities as a managing partner, he focuses his time on the company's strategic direction, new ventures and development and construction.

Paolo and his wife Clara met when they were 16 years old, later married, have four children and live in Vancouver.
