Dr. Goossen is the Chairman of the ELO Network and a meaning-driven entrepreneurial leader. He serves an extensive network of entrepreneurs and family/business owners built over decades of client contributions, collaboration, research, public speaking, and volunteering, impacting approximately 100,000 leaders annually. Dr. Goossen will be discussing "How to have a successful transition when involving family, management, and employees."
Amanda Stacey - Miller Thomson
Amanda provides advice in the areas of wealth management, estate planning, charity, and not-for-profit law. She advises clients on wills, trusts, powers of attorney, family business succession planning, and corporate re-organizations. Amanda also advises on the establishment, tax compliance, governance, and regulation of charities and not-for-profit organizations. She also assists financial institutions with issues pertaining to administering estate assets, registered and non-registered accounts, power of attorney, and capacity matters. Amanda will be discussing "The legal aspects/concerns of doing a successful transition."
Ron Haik - Nicola Wealth
Ron Haik is a Wealth Advisor and Client Relationship Manager in the firm’s Toronto office, with over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. He has gained a breadth of experience working with some of the world’s largest financial institutions advising clients in a variety of roles, such as Financial Planner and Investment Advisor, in the areas of domestic and offshore planning for the high net worth segment. Ron will be discussing "How to structure for a successful exit that can sustain long-term objectives."
Doug Nix - Stillwater Capital M&A Advisors
Doug is an internationally recognized speaker and expert in mergers & acquisitions. He has originated and executed over 100 investment banking assignments for middle market companies and their shareholders throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe. Doug serves as the North American Regional Chair for GGI Global Alliance’s Mergers & Acquisitions Practice Group and leads the Global Transportation and Logistics Practice Group for Geneva Capital Group. Doug will be discussing "How to get fair value for your company."
